2025 Recap: Kingsway Projects That Built Stronger Communities

December 4, 2025

As another year comes to a close, we're reflecting on the work that truly defines Kingsway Services. 2025 was more than just a year of paving. It was a year of progress, partnerships, and purpose. From small-town driveways to high-impact infrastructure projects, we’ve been privileged to serve homes, businesses, and public institutions throughout Holmes County, Wayne County, and surrounding areas.

This year-end recap isn’t just about asphalt. It’s about the people, places, and projects that brought our mission to life. At Kingsway, our goal is to love people and build communities. In 2025, we did both, one job site at a time.

Strengthening Infrastructure, One Surface at a Time

Across Northeast Ohio, local roads, driveways, parking lots, and access points form the foundation of how people live, work, and gather. Our work supports that foundation by delivering durable, well-designed pavement that serves families, customers, employees, and neighbors every day.

Here are just a few of the Kingsway Services projects that left a lasting mark on the region in 2025:

1. Church Parking Lot Revitalizations in Wayne County

We partnered with several churches this year to redesign and resurface their parking areas, some of which hadn’t been updated in decades. For one congregation, this meant creating accessible drop-off zones and expanding capacity for special events. These spaces now serve worshippers, volunteers, and community groups with safety and accessibility top of mind.

2. School Paving Projects That Support Students and Staff

Multiple school districts trusted us to pave access roads, bus loops, and faculty parking lots ahead of the academic year. Our team worked around summer schedules to ensure safe, clean, and functional spaces for drop-off and pickup. These Holmes and Wayne County infrastructure projects supported not just vehicles, but the students and educators who rely on them daily.

3. Driveway Transformations Across Rural Ohio

In neighborhoods throughout Dundee, Millersburg, and beyond, homeowners made the leap from gravel to asphalt. Many of these upgrades included custom layouts, widened aprons, and improved drainage, all of which boosted curb appeal and reduced long-term maintenance. These were some of our most rewarding residential paving projects, helping families enjoy more functional and beautiful entryways.

4. New Construction Access Roads and Commercial Lots

We worked with local developers and business owners to complete access roads and parking lots for retail locations, storage facilities, and service centers. These projects required custom grading, traffic flow planning, and ADA-compliant striping. In each case, the result was a surface built for performance and a property ready for business.

What Makes Kingsway Different

As a local paving company, we know Northeast Ohio because we live and work here. Our crews understand the region’s terrain, seasonal shifts, and community values. But more than that, we’ve built a reputation based on:

  • Honest communication
  • Dependable timelines
  • High-quality materials and workmanship
  • Respect for clients and property
  • We make sure our jobs are done right the first time.

We believe every job, big or small, is an opportunity to make an impact, and our paving company reviews reflect that commitment. Whether it’s a homeowner posting photos of their new driveway or a township clerk expressing gratitude for an efficient public works project, the feedback we receive fuels our passion for excellence.

What We Learned in 2025

Looking back, this year reinforced the importance of adaptability and relationships. Weather delays, material availability, and complex site conditions challenged us, but didn’t stop us. What got us through was trust: from clients who believed in our process, and from a team that showed up every day with humility, skill, and purpose.

We also saw how small details, like clearly marked parking stripes or properly sloped drainage, can make a big difference in the everyday lives of people who use our work. That’s the kind of value that lasts long after the trucks have gone.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We’re entering the new year with gratitude and momentum. In 2026, we plan to expand our capacity to serve more clients across Holmes and Wayne Counties, strengthen our team through ongoing training, and continue investing in the equipment and processes that deliver long-lasting results.

If you’ve been considering a paving project, now is the time to start planning. Spring schedules fill quickly, and early consultation ensures you're first in line when the weather breaks.

Thank You for a Meaningful Year

To the homeowners who invited us onto their property, the churches and schools who trusted us with essential spaces, and the businesses and municipalities who chose Kingsway Services in 2025, thank you. You helped us do more than pave roads. You helped us build something lasting.
