Special Details

Maverick Motorworks is a growing automotive repair company with small-town roots. Years ago they started down a long road: a complete brand makeover and a shift in how the business operates. They expanded the building, invested in their staff, and elevated their service to become one of the premier shops in the area. The parking lot was the last piece that hadn’t caught up to the rest of it.

They took bids from two other contractors before choosing Kingsway — for the recommendations we brought to the table and for how we approach service and our own brand. The owner put it plainly: he had seen the black and gold roll through a local parade, and he knew these were people he could trust with an investment that size and with the curb appeal of his company.

The lot was built for the work Maverick actually does. Roughly 41,500 square feet of new asphalt at a full 5" compacted depth, with the added thickness placed in the base course where transporters, loaded trailers and long-parked equipment put their load. During prep we found an area with nowhere for water to go — rather than pave over it, we priced and installed a precast catch basin and tie-in before the asphalt went down.

The shop that spent years building a premier reputation now has a parking lot that says the same thing before a customer ever walks in the door.
